Timo Alho, Finland, who led since Squad 2 with 1373, by 19 pins. Alho slipped to second place and is followed by
Olli Pakonen, Finland, who leaped into third place behind a 1364 series.
Youri Fens (pictured), a local youth bowler, dominated the fifth qualifying squad Wednesday evening en route to shoot into second place in the Hammer Bronzen Schietspoel Tournament at Dolfijn Bowling Tilburg, Netherlands, with 1460 or an average of 243.33. Fens is now sandwiched between Jean-Marc Lebon of Belgium, who leads the field of 102 players from six countries with 1483 (247.17 average), and his compatriot Marawan Aernoudt, who slipped to third place with 1434 including the tournaments lone 300 game so far.
Lisanne Breeschooten (pictured), Netherlands, led the fourth of 14 qualifying squads Tuesday evening at Dolfijn Bowling Tilburg in Tilburg, Netherlands, to add her name to the leaderboard in the Hammer Bronzen Schietspoel Tournament. The Dutch women's national team member tied Johnny Spil (right), Netherlands, at 1393 and took over fourth place due to her lower last game, 248-214 in Spil's favor. By sitting in the top 6 after four squads, Breeschooten is automatically qualified for Sunday's finals if she doesn't finish in the top 36.

The 2014 European Bowling Tour commences with the Hammer Bronzen Schietspoel Tournament at 20-lane Dolfijn Bowling in Tilburg, Netherlands. Qualifying starts on Sunday, February 23 and runs through Saturday, March 1. A total of 46 players will advance to the finals on Sunday, March 2. The EBT Silver tournament offers total prize fund of 44.400 Euro with 6.000 Euro going to the winner, 4.000 to the runner-up and 3.000 and 2.000 to third and fourth place finishers, resp. Low to cash is 46th place (400 Euro).
Kamilla Kjeldsen (pictured) of Denmark defeated Jaroslav Lorenc, Czech Republic, in the title match over two games total pins, 441-390, to win her first career European Bowling Tour title in the 8th International Wroclaw Open by Hammer Sunday evening at Galeria Rozrywki Miraz in Wroclaw, Poland.Kjeldsen, who won the women's ranking for the 12th time, pocketed 4.250 Euro. Lorenc, who won the men's ranking in Wroclaw received 2.750 Euro for second place.
Karl Wahlgren (pictured left with Joonas Jehkinen, right) of Sweden won the qualifying in the 8th International Wroclaw Open by Hammer en route to lead the top 40 players into Sunday's finals at bowling center Galeria Rozrywki Miraz in Wroclaw, Poland. Joonas Jehkinen of Finland rolled a 1396 series in the last qualifying squad on Saturday evening to leap into third place. Stephan Fiege of Germany hit the cutoff number for 40th place with 1245 (207.50 average). 
Swedish international Karl Wahlgren (pictured left) and his team mate Anton Borg became the first players to crack the 1400-bar en route to lead the 8th International Wroclaw Open by Hammer heading into the final qualifying day. Wahlgren started Squad 11 with games of 213, 229, 247, 225 and 207 before he closed out his six-game block with the tournament's first 300 game to lead 93-player field from 15 countries with 1421 and an average of 236.83. Qualifying concludes on Saturday, February 15, with Squads 13-17.

Hansen leads a field of 61 players from eleven countries with 1363 pinfall total. Jaroslav Lorenc (r.), Czech Republic, who moved into the top spot after a 1352 effort in Squad 6, slipped to second place.
Michał Świtalski and Michał Zarzycki paced a field of 24 bowlers on the opening day of qualifying in the 8th International Wroclaw Open by Hammer at Galeria Rozrywki Miraz in Wroclaw, Poland. Świtalski led the second of three squads on Wednesday with 1335, an average of 222.50 for six games, and and Zarzycki was mere 29 pins behind with 1306. Qualifying continues Thursday, February 13, with Squads 4-7 scheduled to start at 10 a.m., 1.30, 5 and 8.30 p.m. CET.
Mika Koivuniemi (l.) of Finland won an unprecedented fourth Ballmaster Open title when he defeated Dominic Barrett (r.) in a low-scoring title match, 188-172, to celebrate his ninth victory on the European Bowling Tour and to earn the 12.000 Euro top prize. Koivuniemi, who earned a 3.000 Euro bonus for rolling the tournament's first 300 game during qualifying, also was awarded his 13th career PBA title and his fourth win on the World Bowling Tour.

Joline Persson Planefors (pictured) of Sweden posted a 1391 series including handicap in Friday's Squad 11 to move into sixth place in the overall qualifying standings of the 44th Brunswick Ballmaster Open at Tali Bowling Center in Helsinki, Finland. The 2013 European Bowling Tour women's point ranking leader rolled games of 236, 235, 206, 210, 234 and 222 to become the top-ranked woman in the 496-player field. Heading into the last day of qualifying, Swedish standout Tomas Leandersson leads the field with 1420 (236.67 average).

The former World and European champion, who started his series with 213, 235, 186 and 231, totaled 1420 pins, an average of 236.67, in Squad 10 en route to position himself atop the 436-player leaderboard. Three-time Ballmaster Open champion Mika Koivuniemi, Finland, earned a 3.000 Euro bonus for the tournament's first 300 game.

Finnish internationals Joonas Jähi and Pasi Uotila led the third and fourth squad Saturday at Tali Bowling Center in Helsinki, Finland, to crack the top 10 in the qualifying standings of 44th Brunswick Ballmaster Open. Uotila (l.), a three-time Ballmaster Open champion, put together a 1327 series in Squad 4 to leap into fourth place. Jähi (r.), who led Squad 3 with 1308, was second to Uotila in Squad 4 with 1317, good for seventh place overall.
