Pontus Andersson for the overall qualifying lead. Ida fired games of 267, 258, 221, 254, 208 and 220 in Squad 8 to lead a field of 128 bowlers from Norway, Sweden and Iceland.
Robin Asbjörnsen (pictured) of Sweden averaged 229.33 Friday morning at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo, Norway, to leap from 66th to 27th place in the qualifying of the Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick. Asbjörnsen had games toppled 1376 pins and was the lone player in Squad 17 who made the cut to the top 42, who will make the first cut on Saturday evening. Tournament leader Jimmy Mortensen of
Denmark leads the 174-player field since Thursday's Squad 14 with 1514 total (252.33).
Irish two-handed player, Christopher Sloan (pictured) led Squad 16 on Thursday evening with 1425 to bring the number of 1400-series at the Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick to 20 and to jump from 76th to 11th place in the overall qualifying standings. Sloan had games of 202, 268, 233, 236, 248 and 238 at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo, Norway, an average of 237.50 for six games. Tore Rokkones and Øyvind Haugen of Norway tied at 1367 (227.83) to sit in 30th and 31st place heading into the last two qualifying days.
Eight-time European Bowling Tour champion Martin Larsen (pictured) of Sweden became the 20th player at the Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick who cracked the 1400-bar at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo, Norway. The World and European champion had games of 222, 275, 236, 236, 235 and 214 to lead the 15th qualifying squad with 1418, an average of 236.33, to leap into 15th place in the overall qualifying standings. Jimmy Mortensen of Denmark continued to lead the 164-player field with 1514 (252.33).
Jimmy Mortensen (pictured) became the first player who cracked the 1500-bar at the Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick as he averaged 252.33 in the first of three squads on Thursday (14th overall) at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo, Norway. The Dane, who is still trying to win his first title on the European Bowling Tour, fired games of 259, 256, 259, 214, 279 and 247 for 1514 total to overtake previous leader Ida Andersson (right) of Sweden by 38 pins. Swede Mikael Roos rolled the first 300 game in this year's event.
Although there were no changes at the top of the leaderboard after the conclusion of Squad 12, two competitors found their way into the top 42 at the Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick. Lars-Christian Nygård averaged 220 to lead a group of eleven Norwegian bowlers with 1320 but failed to improve his high series of 1378 and remained in 17th place. Kenneth Hermansen and Tom Nilsen (pictured) were close behind Nygård with 1317 and 1313, resp., to move into 31st and 32nd place.

Swedish siblings Ida and Pontus Andersson continued to lead the 132-player field from Iceland, Sweden and Norway with 1476 and 1469, respectively.
World Youth champion Pontus Andersson (pictured left) of Sweden posted a 1469 series in the fifth qualifying squad Sunday afternoon at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo, Norway, to overtake the lead in the Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick. Andersson, who won the gold medal in Doubles at the 2014 World Youth Championships in Hong Kong with Markus Jansson, fired games of 237, 279, 224, 236, 247 and 246, an average of 244.83, to overtake previous leader Tor-Øyvind Lunde of Norway by just two pins.
In a championship match between two of the best two-handed players in the world, Jesper Svensson of Sweden waited until the last frame to celebrate a 223-209 victory over Finland's Osku Palermaa to win the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open Sunday evening at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria. It was the fifth career European Bowling Tour title for Svensson, who became the first multiple champion on the 2015 Tour and received 7.000 Euro top prize for his victory. 
Six-time European Bowling Tour champion Stuart Williams (l.) of England averaged 241.67 in the second round of the finals at the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open to lead the top 18 players into the third and final six-game round before the cut to the stepladder finals this afternoon at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria. Williams, who carries over 1450 pins, holds a 23-pin buffer over second-place Thomas Larsen (r.) of Denmark, who toppled 1427 pins.
Lauriane Celie (l.) of France and Sweden's Joline Persson Planefors (r.) paced a field of 56 players as the finals of the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open got underway on early Sunday morning at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria. Celie totaled 1389 including eight pins handicap per game, an equality handicap provided to women in all European Bowling Tour events, while Persson Planefors had 1384, lead the top 22 players into the second round.
Audun Boye Hansen (l.) and Glenn Morten Pedersen (r.) of Norway led the second and third qualifying squad Saturday at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo to add their names to the leaderboard in the Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick. Hansen leaped into second place with 1443, while Pedersen took over fourth place with 1412. Squad Tor-Øyvind Lunde, Norway, held on to the lead with 1467 and an average of 244.50 for six games.
Starting the penultimate qualifying squat at the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open in seventh place with 1416, just four pins ahead of eighth place which guarantees a first-round bye for Sunday's finals, 16-time PBA champion and last year's VO runner-up, Tommy Jones (pictured), United States, improved by 33 pins to leap two spots into fifth place with 1449 and an average of 241.50 for six games. Joonas Jähi of Finland leads the 263-player field from 26
countries, 67 women and 196 men, since Squad 7 with 1473 and an average
of 245.50.
Although Squad 14 was delayed by half an hour due to a server shutdown which at affected the tournament computer system at the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open, Pasi Uotila (pictured) of Finland averaged 240.83 for six games to jump into fifth place in the qualifying standings with 1445. The three-time Ballmaster Open winner (2000, '04 & '09), who is eagerly waiting for his first victory in Vienna, rolled games of 237, 223, 255, 215 and 236 before he closed out the set just four hours after the practice shots with a huge 279.
Francois Louw (r.) of South Africa averaged 243 in the first squad on Saturday morning (13th overall) to leap into third place in the qualifying of the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open and to take the lead in Doubles together with Thomas Gross (l.) of Austria on 2822. Starting the day in fourth place with 1445, Louw came out of the gates commandingly posting games of 258, 268, 245 and 255 before he closed out with modest 207 and 225 to leap one spot with 1458 total.
Nineteen bowlers from Norway and two from Sweden kicked off the Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick, a European Bowling Tour "Satellite" tournament, Friday at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo, Norway. Tor-Øyvind Lunde of Norway earned the bragging rights as the early tournament leader with a big 1467 series and an average of 244.50. Lunde rolled games of 201, 259, 224, 258, 278 and 247 to beat out compatriot Martin Moen Stikbakke for the top spot by 25 pins.
There were no changes at the top of the leaderboard in the last squad on Friday night at the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open as just five bowlers managed to surpass the 1300-mark. Finland's Joonas Jähi (l.) was never in danger to lose the top spot and continued to lead the 252-player field from 25 countries with 1473 (245.50 ave.). Gwen Hugon (r.) of France led Squad 12 with 1373 total and moved into 17th place in the overall qualifying standings.
Stuart Williams (r.) became the fourth player in the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open who achieved perfection when the Englishmen reeled off twelve strikes in the second game of Squad 11 Friday evening at Plus Bowling. The six-time European Bowling Tour champion improved on his 1419 from Squad 8 by three pins. Williams, who remained in fifth place in the overall qualifying standings, joined forces with his compatriot Dom Barrett (l.) to move to top of the Doubles leaderboard with 2809 total.
The Norwegian Open 2015 by Brunswick, the 15th and penultimate stop of the 2015 European Bowling Tour and the last EBT event on European soil this season, kicked off Friday at 6 p.m. CEST with the first of 23 qualifying squads at Veitvet Bowling Center in Norway's capital city of Oslo. The EBT "Satellite" tournament will be held from Oct. 2-11 and offers total prize fund of approx. 25.220 Euro including a 4.221 Euro top prize.

Denmark's Britt Brøndsted (l.) and Dino Castillo (r.), United States, led the 10th qualifying squad at the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open Friday afternoon at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria, en route to leap into 10th and 11th place in the overall standings. Brøndsted finished her six-game series with 256 and 253 scratch to earn the bragging rights as the squad leader with 1398 total, including 48 pins handicap. Castillo toppled 1387 pins.
