Larsen averaged 242.17 for six games to lead the squad with 1453, including the tournament's third 300 game. Louw also had a shot at the lead but had settle for
fourth place with 1445.
Joonas Jähi (l.) of Finland posted a 1473 series in Squad 7, an average of 245.50, to take the lead in the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open as qualifying has reached the halfway mark, Austria. Jähi started his six-game series with a low game of 205 before he reeled off twelve consecutive strikes for the tournament's first 300 game. He closed out with 230, 237, 269 and 232 to beat previous leader Michael Loos (r.) of Austria for the top spot by 10 pins.
Austrian national team bowler Michael Loos (r.) averaged 243.83 in the fifth qualifying Squad Wednesday at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria, to overtake the lead in Singles qualifying and in the Doubles competition of the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open. Loos fired games of 263, 266, 246, 217, 256 and 215 to leap from seventh to first place to lead the 129-player field with 1463. Loos also teamed with previous leader Thomas Gross (l.) to set the pace in Doubles with 2773.
Thomas Gross (l.) of Austria continued to lead the qualifying 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open after the conclusion of squads 3 & 4 Tuesday at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria, with 1412 six-game total and an average of 235.33. Jiri Hindrak, Czech Republic, remained in second place with 1354. Hindrak's fellow countryman, Jaroslav Lorenc (r.) beat out Finland's Perttu Jussila for the top spot in Squad 3 by just one pin, 1341 to 1340.
Austria's top bowling couple, Thomas & Ivonne Gross (pictured) took the early lead in the 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open after the opening day of qualifying Monday at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria. Thomas, who won the tournament in 2009, posted 1412 to lead the 81-player field from six countries with a 235.33 average. He also teamed with his wife Ivonne, who totaled 1297 (208.17 average) including 48 pins women's handicap, to set the pace in Doubles with 2707 total.
The 13th Columbia 300 Vienna Open is the 14th tournament on the 2015 European Bowling Tour. 240 bowlers from 25 countries have registered for the final EBT "gold" event this season, which will be held from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4 at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria. Players will compete for total prize fund of 73.130 Euro.

Jaroslav Lorenc (pictured) of the Czech Republic led the ninth and final qualifying squad Saturday evening with 1456 total and an average of 242.67 to win the qualifying of the Chandra Open 2015 and to lead 40 players into Sunday finals at Chandra Bowling in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. Lorenc, who has a career-high finish of second in the 9th International Wroclaw Open in February this year, fired games of 244, 247, 238, 225, 266 and 236 to lead a field of 112 players, 93 men and 19 women, from 19 countries.
Danish national team member Mik Stampe (pictured ) averaged 230.50 in Friday's Squad 5 to jump into third place in the qualifying of the Chandra Open 2015. Stampe started his set with five consistent games between 224 and 232 and closed with a high game of 247 for 1383 six-game total. Heading into the final qualifying day, three-time European Bowling Tour champion Ghislaine Stigter-van der Tol, Netherlands, leads the field of 95 players, 78 men and 17 women, from 12 countries with 1419 total including 48 pins women's handicap.
Alex de Vries (pictured) of the Netherlands averaged 226.83 in the fourth qualifying squad of the Chandra Open 2015 Thursday at Chandra Bowling in Nieuwegein, Netherlands, to move into fourth place in the overall qualifying standings. De Vries had games of 232, 217, 250, 254, 223 and 185 for a 1361 series. Squad 1 leader Ghislaine Stigter-van der Tol continued to lead the field of 72 players, 57 men and 15 women, from seven countries with 1419 total including 48 pins women's handicap.

Squad 1 leader Ghislaine Stigter-van der Tol continued to lead the field of 64 players with 1419 total including 48 pins handicap. Belgium's Jimmy Ravez is the best foreign bowler in second place with 1411 and the field-best 235.17 average.

Jacobs, who posted the tournament's first perfect game, averaged 229.67 for a 1378 series to move into third place in the overall qualifying standings. Squad 1 leader Ghislaine Stigter-van der Tol, Netherlands, continued to lead the field of 54 players from five countries with 1419 total including handicap.
Ghislaine Stigter-van der Tol (pictured) posted a 1419 six-game series in the opening squad to take the early lead in the Chandra Open 2015 which got underway Sunday at Chandra Bowling in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. Van der Tol, one of only two women who have won three European Bowling Tour titles rolled games of 246, 264, 255, 210, 229 and 167 for 1371 scratch, an average of 228.50, and added 48 pins handicap to earning bragging rights as the early tournament leader by eight pins over Belgium's Jimmy Ravez.
The Chandra Open 2015 is the 13th stop of the 2014 European Bowling Tour and the sixth out of seven EBT "Satellite" tournaments this season. The tournament runs from Sept. 13-20 at 16-lane Chandra Bowling in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. This year's edition offers total prize fund of 25.600 Euro with 5.000 Euro going to the winner and 3.000 Euro to the runner-up, while the third and fourth place finishers will receive 2.000 Euro and 1.000, respectively. Final cash spot is 40th place worth 300 Euro.
Richard Teece of England improved on a third-place finish last year to win his first career EBT title and the 7.000 Euro top prize in the 6th Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open by Erdinger Sunday in Munich, Germany. Teece, who led Round Three with 913 four-game total, was able to capitalize on a 54-pin lead after the cut to the top four players for the eliminator round finals also featuring Tanner Spacey (859), United States; Joonas Jehkinen (848), Finland; and Stuart Williams, England.

The 2014 European Bowling Tour point ranking leader and four-time EBT champion rebounded from a 181 opening game with 233, 257, 248, 246 and 243 to pace the 166-player field from 20 countries with 1408 and an average of 234.67. All winners of squads 10-16 winners received a 350 Euro bonus.
Markus Jansson (pictured) won two of the three squads on Thursday at the 6th Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open by Erdinger and moved to the top of the qualifying leaderboard with 1338 total (223 average). After leading Squad 10 with 1220, the Swede repeated in Squad 11 behind games of 242, 236, 247, 210, 202 and 201. Jansson received a 350 Euro bonus for each win. The international bowler took control of the 18-nation field in Squads 11 and 12 as six players moved to the top of the 118-player leaderboard.
Alexander Tarsoly won his second 200-Euro bonus Wednesday afternoon at Dream-Bowl Palace in Munich, Germany, as the Hungarian posted a 1268 six-game series to lead Squad 8 in the 6th Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open by Erdinger. Tarsoly, who led Squad 6 with 1210, improved by 58 pins to leap from ninth to second place in the overall qualifying standings. By virtue of finishing squads 8 & 9 in first and second place, Tarsoly and Squad 9 leader Christian Seidl, Germany (1264) earned automatic spots in Sunday's finals.
Ron Mohr (l.) of Las Vegas earned top qualifier honors for the PBA50 Treasure Island Resort & Casino Open Tuesday at Island Xtreme Bowl, but withstood a charge from retired Major League Baseball All-Star pitcher John Burkett (r.) of Southlake, Texas, who finished the day in second just eight pins behind. Mohr and Burkett led a field of 38 players from the original 90-player field who advanced to Wednesday's match play rounds.
