Siu Hong (.), the defending champion, averaged 233.2 for the ten-game round to lead the top eight men into the finals. Armein topped the women's qualifying with 2215.

Al-Hassan received 75 ranking points for the victory en route to qualify for the Tournament of Champions in March 2013. Ryan Lalisang of Indonesia and Julia Lam of Macau finished atop the men's and women's rankings.

In the men's title match, Widjaya defeated Michael Tsang of Hong Kong, 239-198, to claim his first career ABFT title. Netrviseth topped Alisha Nabila of Indonesia, 184-171, to win the women's title. The eighth and last ABF Tour leg will be held in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, Dec. 22.

Rickle Kam of Hong Kong and Tang Joh Six of Malaysia (r-l) won four matches each in single-elimination match play to earn the men's and women's title at the Asian Bowling Federation Tour Macau leg Sunday at COTAI International Bowling Center in Macau, China. Kam defeated Hengky Susanto of Indonesia in the men's final, 197-190 while Tang topped defending champion Julia Lam of Macau, 194-177, in the women's title match.
Kang Bo Long of Malaysia and Gloria Yung of Hong Kong (r-l) won the men's and women's single-elimination playoffs in the Asian Bowling Federation Tour Hong Kong leg to capture their first career ABF Tour title. Both players saved their best for last. Kang stormed to his first career AFT Tour victory with a huge 278-195 win against Hong Kong Open champ Fahad Al-Emadi of Qatar. Yung edged Cookie Lee in an all-Hong Kong affair by one pin, 212-211.

After three defeats in Asian Bowling Federation Tour title matches, Yousif Falah (pictured) of Bahrain finally got the monkey off his back when he defeated compatriot Masoud Saberi, 217-180, to notch his first career ABF Tour win at the International Bowling Center in Cairo, Egypt. It was the second title within a week for the Bahraini, who also won the 14th Sinai International Open, which served as the qualifier for fourth leg of the 2012 ABF Tour. The next stop is the ABF Tour Hong Kong leg on June 10.
Local favorite Yanee Saebe wins second consecutive women's title in Bangkok
Wu Siu Hong (r.) of Hong Kong, and defending women's champion Yanne Saebe (l.) of Thailand claimed the titles in the ABF Tour Thailand leg Thursday at S.F. Strike Bowl Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. In the men's final, Siu Hong defeated fellow countryman Wicky Yeung, 210-174, to wrap up the title. Saebe saved her best for the last game, defeating compatriot Chantanee Sarnswang, 223-206, to win her second consecutive ABF Tour women's title in Bangkok.

For the third time in just one week, Cozmo Bowling Center in Kuwait City hosted a major bowling event as the second leg of the Asian Bowling Federation Tour followed the ABF Tour Tournament of Champions and the 9th Kuwait Open. In an all UAE-affair, Hareb Al-Mansoori (l.) defeated Sayed Al-Hashemi (r.), 244-205, in the title match to capture his first career ABF Tour title. The third ABF Tour stop will be in Bangkok, Thailand on April 19.

Long-time Australian national team member and USBC Silver level coach, Andrew Frawley (pictured) captured the first title of the 2012 Asian Bowling Federation Tour by defeating Yousif Falah of Bahrain Saturday at Ozone Entertainment Center in Manama, Bahrain. In the title match, Frawley reeled off a seven-bagger to fly past his opponent, 259-213, and to win his first international title since the Thailand Open in the year 2010. There was no women's competition in this event.
