Yousif Falah, Chan Shuk Han emerge as 2014 ABF Tour Tournament of Champions

Yousif Falah (l.) of Bahrain and Hong Kong's Chan Shuk Han (r.) won the 2014 ABF Tour Tournament of Champions Tuesday afternoon at Cozmo Bowling Center in Salmiya City, Kuwait. In the men's title match, Falah defeated Yannaphon Larp-apharat of Thailand, 187-155, to claim the title and the $20,000 top prize. On the women's side, Chan topped Wendy Chai of Malaysia, 221-183, to earn her second title and the $10,000 first place check.

Indonesia's Lalisang, Limansantoso lead top 8 men and women into quarterfinals

Players to determine the champions in Tuesday's single-elimination bracket finals

The single-elimination bracket finals feature one-game matches. The men's champion will receive the US$20,000 top prize while the women's champion will walk away with US$10,000.

Saudi Arabia's Abdullah Al Dolijan wins season-ending ABF Tour event in Riyadh

Shaker Al-Hassan (UAE) and Sharon Limansantoso (INA) win the 2014 ABFT men's and women's point ranking

2014ABFT09AbdullahAlDolijan_small.jpg Local favorite Abdullah Al Dolijan (pictured) won his first career Asian Bowling Federation Tour title in the Saudi Arabia leg Wednesday, December 3, at Universal Bowling Center in Riyadh as he flew past Khaled Al Dubyyan of Kuwait, 223-147, in the title match. Shaker Al-Hassan, United Arab Emirates, emerged as the men's point ranking leader while Sharon Limansantoso of Indonesia finished atop the women's ranking. The top 16 men and women qualified for the Tournament of Champions.

2014 Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) Schedule & Champions

ABFTourLogo_small.jpg The 2014 Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) Tour consisted of nine legs, five in the Middle East (Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia) with a men's division only and four in East and South East Asia (Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and Indonesia) featuring men and women in separate divisions. Players earned ranking points based on how they finish in each event. The top 16 men and the top 16 women qualified for the ABF Tour Tournament of Champions March 17-18, 2015 in Kuwait.

Indonesia's Limansantoso uses her second victory this season to win the 2014 women's point ranking; Hong Kong's Chan earns his first career title on the Asian Bowling Federation Tour

Limansantoso topped her fellow Indonesian national squad member Nadia Pramanik in the women's title match, 202-163. Chan survived a low-scoring encounter against Sonny Njoto, Indonesia, 183-181, to win his first career title on the Asian Bowling Federation Tour.

Yousif Falah wins his second career ABF Tour title in Dubai

2014ABFT07YousifFalahShakerAlHassan_small.jpgYousif Falah (l.) of Bahrain flew past Shaker Al Hassan (r.), UAE, 246-168, to claim his second career title on the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) Tour Wednesday at Dubai Bowling Center in Dubai, UAE. Falah, who won his first ABFT title in the 2012 Egypt leg, threw nine strikes in a clean game, while Al-Hassan suffered three open frames, to put the match away well before the final frame. The ABF Tour moves to Jakarta for the Indonesia leg on October 27.

Sharon Limansantoso, Yeri Ramadona sweep the titles for Indonesia in ABFT Macau leg

Limansantoso (r.) improved on a second-place finish in the Hong Kong leg last week with a 248-201 victory against Chan Shuk Han, Hong Kong. Ramadona (l.) captured his second career ABF Tour title defeating local favorite def. Lee Tak Man, Macau, by five pins, 226-221.

Putty Armein, Eric Tseng end ABF Tour title drought in Hong Kong

2014ABFT05EricTsengPuttyArmein_small.jpgIndonesia's Putty Armein and Eric Tseng remained unbeaten in the single-elimination finals of the ABF Tour Hong Kong leg en route to win the women's and men's title Monday at the SCAA bowling center. Armein defeated her fellow national team member Sharon Limansantoso, 199-190, to win her first title since the 2010 ABF Tour Macau leg. Tseng ended a five-year drought with a 233-226 victory in the men's title match against fellow Hong Kong national team member Wu Siu Hong.

Mohamed Al Saud captures his second Asian Bowling Federation Tour title in Egypt

2014ABFT04MohamedAlSaud_small.jpg Mohamed Al Saud (pictured) captured his second career Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) Tour title in the 2014 Tour's Egypt leg Thursday at the International Bowling Center in Cairo. In the title match, the Saudi Arabian Prince defeated defending champion Ayman Hashem, Egypt, 215-182, to seal his second victory after winning the 2013 stop in the UAE. The ABF Tour will takes a six-week break before heading to East Asia for a double-header in Hong Kong (June 16) and Macau (June 23).

Kritsanakorn Sangaroon, Shaik Abdul Hameed win their first ABF Tour title in Thailand

Hameed, who survived a roll-off in the opening round, flew past Mahmood Al-Attar, UAE, in the men's title match, 242-183. 19-year-old Kritsanakorn defeated Benchawan Poungthong in an all-Thai affair, 223-183, to seal the victory in the women's division.

Mahmood Al-Attar wins his first Asian Bowling Federation Tour title in Kuwait

2014ABFT02MahmoodAlAttar_small.jpg UAE national team member Mahmood Al-Attar defeated local favorite Khaled Al-Dubyyan of Kuwait, 217-184, to claim his first career Asian Bowling Federation Tour title Saturday at Cozmo Bowling Center in Salmiya, Kuwait. The top 16 Asian bowlers in the 11th Kuwait International Open 2014 qualified for the second leg of the 2014 ABF Tour. In the title match, 23-year-old Al-Attar, who won the 2013 Dubai Open, pulled away with a four-bagger in frames 2-5 and never looked back.

Shaker Al-Hassan starts 2014 Asian Bowling Federation Tour with victory in Bahrain

2014ABFT01ShakerAlHassan_small.jpgShaker Al-Hassan (pictured), UAE, defeated local favorite Mohammed Janahi, 200-199, to start the 2014 Asian Bowling Federation Tour with victory in the Bahrain leg Saturday at Ozone Entertainment Center in Sitra, Bahrain. It was the second title in two days for the Emirati, who captured his first World Bowling Tour title and the $25,000 top prize in the 12th Kingdom of Bahrain International Bowling Championship on Friday. The top 16 Asian bowlers qualified for the ABF Tour leg.
