It was the second ISBT women's title for Brown in 2012 after winning the season-opening event at Plaza Reims Thillois in France.

82 men and 15 women entered the tournament, which was held from March 5-11, 2012 at Bowling Center "Am Bahnhof" in OsnabrĂĽck, Germany. All players bowled two blocks of 6 games qualifying. Age bonus started at age 51 (1 pin per game) and increased a pin for every additional year of age with no limit.

Total 35 men and 10 women including "Early Birds" and "Turbo games" winners advanced to the finals.

Erich Caspari of Germany led the men's qualifying with 3067 including the tournament's first 300 game. Ron Oldfield of England, who won the men's title in Reims, was second with 3025 followed by Italy’s Santo Provenzi in third with 2921. The cut for the top 25 fell to England’s Ken Wray on 2720. Those 25 were joined by 6 qualifiers from the early birds plus the top four Turbo qualifiers.

In the women's division, Brown set the tone with 2520 and was followed by Gisela Insinger, Germany, with 2507, Liliane Vintens, Belgium, with 2498 and past world champion Martina Beckel, Germany, with 2496. These four were joined by four early bird qualifiers and two Turbo qualifiers.

The scores for the finals were all reset to zero. The men rolled two four-game blocks which trimmed the field to 25 and then ten players, who determined the champion in another four-game block. The women bowled four games with the top 4 advancing to the final four-game- block.

Weideman, who barely made the second cut with 1847, rocketed from last to first place in a span of four games (1036) to beat out Utz Dehler, Germany, for the men's title by 20 pins, 2883 to 2863. Al Jenkins, England, finished further six pins behind in third place with 2857.

In the women's finals, Beckel used four games over 201 to overtake the lead after the first block, but Brown and Barbara Karnasch, Germany, fought back and determined the women's champion in the final frame.

Karnasch finished her last game first and left Brown needing a double in the 10th frame to claim the victory. And that was exactly what she did to claim her second consecutive ISBT title in 2012 and the third consecutive win on the ISBT after winning the season-ending event of the 2011 tour in Gibraltar.

The next ISBT stop will be held from April 11-15, 2012 at Cristal Bowling in Wittelsheim, France.
