Martin (no relation to Rebecka) averaged 236.44 and totaled 4256 pins to lead defending champion Mika Koivuniemi (right), Finland, by 57 pins. Swede Karl Wahlgren was further 114 pins behind in third place.

Joining the top 4 in the finals were Gery Verbruggenm Belgium (4074), Dominic Barrett, England (4067), Perttu Jussila, Finland (4039) and Malaysia's Syafiq Ridhwan (4031).

Dennis Eklund (right) rolled the first 300 game of the Masters in game #16 but failed to make the cut in 12th place. Former EBT Masters champions Osku Palermaa, Finland, Paul Moor, England, and Robert Andersson, Sweden, also failed to advance.

Guerrero, who finished second to Mike Fagan in the 3rd Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open Sunday, used the highest series in block three with 1391 to move into second place with 3986.

Dane Mai Ginge Jensen was a distant third with 3905 and was followed by Krista Pöllänen, Finland in fourth with 3901 and Nina Flack, Sweden, in fifth with 3860.

Places six and seven belonged to Patricia Luoto, Germany, and Wendy Kok, Netherlands, with 3859 and 3838, respectively. Rounding out the top 8 was Kok's compatriot Bianca Wiekeraad with 3835 and an average of 213.06.

2012EBTMastersLogo_small.jpg The 5th EBT Masters is the season-ending event of the 2011 European Bowling Tour. The top 50 men and the top 50 women in each event earn ranking points based on how they finish in the event. Those points will be tabulated throughout the season to determine the top 16 men and top 16 women who qualify for the EBT Masters.

In a change to the first four Masters, the 2012 edition is contested on one lane conditioning pattern only, the 41-feet "Turnpike 2441" from the Kegel Sport Series.

All players bowled three blocks of six-games with the top 8 of each division advancing to the match play finals with the 18-game total from the preliminaries being carried forward. After seven games round robin (20 pins bonus for a win, 10 for a tie) the 25-game total including bonus pins will determine the champions.
