Mubarak Ali wins his second ABF Tour title of the year in Bahrain

In an all-Qatar affair, Mubarak Ali Al Muraikhi flew past his team mate on the Qatar national team, Saeed Al Hajri, 268-226 to claim his second title on the 2006 Asian Bowling Federation Tour at Fun Land Bowling Center in Manama, Bahrain.
Mubarak Ali, who won the season-opening event in Qatar, rolled games of 226, 259 and 234 on his way to the title match, while Al Hajri shot the high game of the day in his first round victory over Mohad Sultan, Bahrain, 269-165.
The top 16 Asian men of the Bahrain Open Championships advanced to the Asian Bowling Federation Tour stop. Winner Tim Mack, United States, was not eligible to participate.
It was the fifth ABF Tour stop of the 2006 season for the men, while the Asian women have competed in mere two events in Malaysia and in Thailand. There was no women competition in Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
