PBA full members will have the opportunity to enter four PBA Tour events that make up the PBA Detroit Winter Swing.

For a $600 fee, entries are now being accepted for the PBA Carmen Salvino, Mark Roth and Don Carter Classics, and Earl Anthony PBA Players Championship that are part of the PBA's Detroit Winter Swing Jan. 19-27 at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Mich.

Entries will be available for 67 full PBA members for the package of four individual tournaments. Entries will also be available for a non-member Pro-Tournament qualifier (PTQ) which will advance eight players into the tournament field.

The Carmen Salvino, Mark Roth and Don Carter Classics will each pay a $15,000 first prize and a 32-place prize list ($700 last-to-cash). The Earl Anthony Players Championship will pay a $25,000 first prize and a 42-place prize list ($1,000 last-to-cash).

Making up the rest of the 125-player Winter Swing field will be members of the eight PBA League teams (48 players including each team's supplemental draft pick) and two host center entries.

Entries will be accepted only for all four events (players may not enter events individually) on a first come basis. The PTQ will be conducted on Jan. 19. If the quota of 67 PBA member entries is filled, any full PBA members on the waiting list will be allowed to enter the non-member PTQ to compete for one of the eight available spots. Entry fee for the PTQ — which will not have a prize fund – is $300. Those advancing to the tournament field will be required to pay the additional $300 balance of the tournament entry fee.

PBA full members wishing to enter the Detroit Winter Swing may either download an entry form or enter online here. PBA members can also enter by calling Barb Wilt at PBA Headquarters at (206) 654-6025. Non-members must submit a PTQ entry form or use the on-line system to enter the PTQ.
