The United States Bowling Congress releases Bulletin 1 for the 2013 Queens

The United States Bowling Congress (USBC) has released Bulletin 1 for the 2013 USBC Queens tournament, a World Bowling Tour event for female bowlers, which will be held from August 31 to September 5 at Sunset Station's Strike Zone in suburban Las Vegas.
Strike Zone Bowling Center was built in 2003 and has hosted the PABCON Championships, the USBC Masters, U.S. Women’s Open, PBA Tournament of Champions and the WTBA International Open in its short existence, and will also host the WTBA World Championships for men and women immediately prior to the USBC Queens August 16-31.
The 2013 USBC Queens will be hosted by four partners: the United States Bowling Congress, the World Tenpin Bowling Association, Station Casinos and Storm Bowling Products.
All entrants will bowl 10 games of Qualifying. After 10 games, the top one-third of the field will advance to the Cashers Round for five additional games, with scores from Qualifying carrying over to the Cashers Round.
The field will be cut for Double-Elimination Match Play based on 15-game total pinfall. Match play will consist of 64 bowlers if there are 192 entries or more, or 32 bowlers if there are 191 entries or fewer. The winner will receive the $20,000 top prize.

During the evenings of September 1, September 2 and September 3, open tournamentswill be conducted at Strike Zone Bowling Center. Both men and women will be eligible and cash prizes will be awarded. Entry fees are payable on site for these separate events.

2. Sunset Station Hotel & Casino and the City of Henderson/Las Vegas
3. Strike Zone Bowling Center
4. Various facilities and services
5. Entry fees
6. Prize money
