Bowling to be included in the official program of the XVII Pan American Games "Toronto 2015"

    PASO President Mario Vázquez Raña made the announcement during the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Pan American Sports Organization in Kingston, Jamaica

    2013ODEPAPASOLogo.jpg The Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) hosts an Extraordinary General Assembly of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO/ODEPA) February 7 & 8 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston.

    In attendance are the representatives of the 41 National Olympic Committees of the Americas and delegates from the Pan American Sports Federations (APASC/ACODEPA), the organizing committee for the XVII Pan American Games "Toronto 2015", the Rio 2016 Olympic Games organizing committee as well as cities bidding to host the 2019 Pan American Games.

    The main items on the agenda is to receive progress reports from the Toronto 2015 organizing committees, presentations from the cities bidding to host the 2019 Games and proposals for the Olympic and Pan American Solidarity activities over the period of the Olympic Quadrennium 2013-2016.

    2012PASOPresidentMarioVazquezRana.jpg Guandique was pleased to inform the PABCON member federations that PASO President Mario Vázquez Raña (right), a Mexican newspaper magnate, has announced Thursday afternoon that Bowling will be included again in the official program of the 2015 Pan Am Games, which will be held July 10-26 in Toronto, Canada.

    The 41 member countries of PASO represented at the assembly are:

    Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica , Cuba, Dominican Republic, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada , Guatemala , Guyana , Haiti , Honduras , Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts And Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, United States of America, Uruguay, U.S. Virgin Islands, Venezuela, Virgin Islands (British), and the host Jamaica.
