2013IBELogo.jpg The Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA) has announced that a "Second Chance" drawing has been added to the $100,000 Bowling Center Makeover event at the end of Bowl Expo.

Both drawings will take place Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. PDT, in front of the International Bowling Campus/BPAA booth on the trade show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The "Second Chance" prize package includes a $5,000 credit towards the purchase of Brunswick lane cleaners, conditioners, parts and supplies, $5,000 worth of UStrike Bowling Pins by Ebonite, $5,000 worth of Storm Bowling products and a choice of $5,000 worth of parts, lane cleaners or conditioners, or $5,000 off the purchase price for a new EZ Touch lane machine from QubicaAMF.

"We've upped the excitement in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for bowling proprietors who are attending this year's Bowl Expo," said Steve Johnson, BPAA executive director.

"First, we are giving away several, one-ounce gold coins during the week, then at the end of Bowl Expo, one center is going to win a $100,000 Bowling Center Makeover, plus a complimentary review of center performance from BPAA personnel and an overhaul of BPAA services and programs.

"And now, thanks to our partners at Brunswick, Ebonite, Storm and QubicaAMF, we are able to give another proprietor an opportunity to win $20,000 worth of products for their center." The winner of the $100,000 Bowling Center Makeover drawing will get a $100,000 credit towards the purchase of any product or service offered on the trade show floor plus an overhaul of programs and services at their center including education on center operations, web services, training, and other BPAA-provided offerings.

As part of the grand prize package, BPAA will grant the winning center two full tuition waivers to an upcoming Management School at Bowling University (valued at $2,998); complete access to Bowling University's online training catalog ($3,100); website hosting and unlimited updates for one year ($780); and a multi-day operations review performed by an industry expert ($3,600).

The BPAA's "$100,000 Bowling Center Makeover" contest and "Second Chance" drawing are open to domestic, non-military BPAA member centers only, with a limit of one entry per center.

International Bowl Expo 2013 will be held from June 23-28, 2013, at the Paris Las Vegas. The drawings will be held at 4:00 p.m. PDT, Thursday, June 27, 2013, on the trade show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The winner must be present to accept the prize.
