All four championship matches in best-of-three games bracket format went the distance.

Venezuela swept both U-16 Masters titles. Mudo, who finished eighth in All Events to earn the last spot for the girls Masters finals, topped No. 3 seed Isabella Correa of Colombia, 215-147, in the deciding third game to win the gold medal, two-games-to-one.

Correa took the silver medal while semifinal losers Paulina Torres of Puerto Rico and Erika Quesada of Costa Rica shared the bronze medals.

In the championship match of the U16 boys Masters, No. 1 seed Jorge A. Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and No. 2 seed Carlos Granados of Venezuela squared off. Rodriguez took a 1-0 lead with 243-183 win, but Granados rebounded with back-to-back wins (190-162 and 225-169) to seal the victory.

The bronze medals went to Mauricio Martinez of Colombia and Massimiliano Fridegotto of Venezuela.

Puerto Rican star Kristie Lopez was targeting her third individual gold medal in the U20 girls division after her victories in Singles and All Events, but Alexandra Mosquera of Colombia had other plans.

The No. 15 seed won the first game by 60 pins, 234-174, lost the second by 73 pins, 221-148, and cruised to the title with a 222-175 win in the decider. Lopez had to settle for the silver medal, while Kamilah Dammers of Aruba and Sara Pelayo of Mexico got bronze.

In the U20 boys finals, top seeded Andre Fors of Mexico was on course to break the leader's curse as he won a high-scoring first game in the championship match against No. 10 James Stanley of Costa Rica, 237-223.

Stanley, however, countered with 233-203 and 215-194 wins, to emerge as Masters champion. Fors added a silver medal to his impressive resume while Mitch Hupe of Canada and Fabian Lopez of Mexico took bronze.
