Mexico wins gold and silver in Mixed Team events, two bronze for Guatemala

    The Mexican four-player mixed teams won the gold and silver medal in both divisions - Under 15 and Under 21 - in the 2006 CAMBOWL Junior at CRTC Bowling Center in San José, Costa Rica.

    2006CAMBOWLJuniorMixedFoursomeU21MEX.jpg Mixed Doubles champion Aseret Zetter teamed with Juan Diego Quintanilla, Paola Rodriguez and Miguel Angel Romero to lead the Under 21 Division with 3729 pinfall total and an average of 186,45 for five team games. Jose Carlos Viruete, Patricia Contreras, Emma Castro and Isi Eskenasi were 38 pins behind in second place at 3691. Another 26 pins behind were Jorge Samayoa, Nancy Morales, Paola Portabella and Jose Marroquin of Guatemala to earn bronze with 3665.

    Ana Rosa Gamboa, Jimena Martinez, Diego Lozano and Andre Fors captured the Under 15 title with 2894 four-game total and an average of 180,88. Pamela Alvarez, Pamela Sandoval, Marco Gastelum and Daniel Intriago took silver with 2835, while Jose Andres Leal, Melissa Maul, Pamela Monzon and Juan Pablo Castillo earned another bronze medal for Guatemala with 2564.
