2014IBELogo.jpg The Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA) announced two educational opportunities at International Bowl Expo Xtreme 2014 in Orlando, Florida, June 22-27, 2014.

The two unique events are part of a jam-packed two days of exceptional educational seminars, Thought Leader and networking sessions designed to increase the profitability of BPAA member centers.

Monday afternoon, June 23, is an additional fee, off-site "The Business Behind The Magic Tour" at nearby Disney locations. Transportation will be provided for attendees to go behind the scenes and experience first-hand, time-tested Disney business philosophies at one of the leading business operations in the world.

The 3-hour tour features the five core principles taught by the Disney Institute and shows how they come to life every day at the Walt Disney World Resort for Cast Members and Guests.

The tour also includes a peek into four interesting locations: "Textile Services," "Epcot Cast Services," "Main Street, USA" and the "Utilidor System" where they will journey beneath the Magic Kingdom Park to explore its support systems.

Attendees will come away from the Disney experience with creative ideas to enhance their own marketing, customer service and training. They will also gain great insight into boosting their team member and selection process, learn innovative customer service and loyalty ideas, and discover leadership skills for themselves or to use in team training.

On Tuesday afternoon, June 24, two faculty members from the University of Central Florida (UCF) Rosen College of Hospitality Management will facilitate a "Hospitality Management Super Session" at the Rosen Shingle Creek.

The two-part super session includes "Catering Opportunities for Every Center - from Snack Bars to Full-Service Kitchens," presented by Cynthia Mejia, PhD., and "Moving Beyond Service to Hospitality," presented by Jill Fjelstul, PhD.

The UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management is recognized as a true innovator in hospitality education. For any attendee looking to "up" their game in the hospitality area of their business, this is a must-attend event.

The Rosen Shingle Creek is the official host hotel for International Bowl Expo 2014. Room rates are $139 single/double (plus applicable taxes; based on availability) when booked before May 22.
