Indonesia's Putty Armein and Eric Tseng remained unbeaten in the single-elimination finals of the Asian Bowling Federation Tour Hong Kong leg en route to win the women's and men's title Monday at the South China Athletic Association Bowling Center in Hong Kong, China.

In an all-Indonesian women's title match, Armein defeated her fellow national team member Sharon Limansantoso, 199-190, to win her first title since the 2010 ABF Tour Macau leg. Limansantoso, runner-up in the 40th Hong Kong International Open which served as the qualifying event, fell short for the second consecutive day.

Armein (right) had to work hard to make it to the championship match. Following a one-pin opening round win over Milki Ng and 233-216 victory over former Asian ranking champion Chan Shuk Han, both of Hong Kong, was 40-26 win in roll-off in the semifinal against Thailand leg winner Kritsanakorn Sangaroon, Thailand, after a 191-191 tie.

Tseng (left), who won his first ABF Tour title in 2009 in Bahrain, ended a five-year drought with a 233-226 victory in the men's title match against fellow Hong Kong national team member Wu Siu Hong.

Needing to double in the tenth frame to seal the victory, Tseng delivered two strikes and a nine-count on the fill ball.

Tseng started his run for the title with a huge 254-181 win against Indonesian standout Ryan Lalisang followed by a close 200-194 win against current Asian point ranking leader Shaker Al Hassan. In the semifinal, Tseng eliminated tour rookie Tomoyuki Sasaki of Japan, 200-169.

Vivien Lau, Chairman of the ABF Tour and Honorary Life President of the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) presented the trophies to the winners.

The 2014 ABF Tour consists of nine legs, five in the Middle East (Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia) with a men's division only and four in East and South East Asia (Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and Indonesia) featuring men and women in separate divisions.

Players earn ranking points based on how they finish in each event. The top 16 men and the top 16 women at the end of the 2014 season qualify for the ABF Tour Tournament of Champions scheduled for March 2015 (tbc) in Egypt.

The sixth ABF Tour stop will be held in Macau on June 23 following the 2014 Macau-China International Open.
