Indonesian bowlers Sharon Limansantoso and Yeri Ramadona swept the women's and men's title in the 2014 Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) Tour Macau leg Monday at COTAI bowling center in Macau, China.

Limansantoso, who won the 2014 Macau International Open yesterday, which served as qualifying event for the Macau leg, improved on a second-place finish in the Hong Kong leg last week with a 248-201 victory in the women's title match against Chan Shuk Han, Hong Kong.

Limansantoso had a slow start into the single-elimination finals defeating Kanako Ishimine, Japan, 195-185, in the Round of 16. She flew past her opponents in the quarterfinals and semifinals, Veronica De Souza, Macau (224-176) and Zhang Chun Li, China (227-163), to advance to the title match.

"I've made four finals in two weeks and I couldn't have asked for more," said the 29-year-old, who has won the ABF Tour Tournament of Champions twice in 2008 and 2014. "I was totally comfortable with the lane conditions today and I have to thank my team-mates and coaches for their support."

With the victory Limansantoso took over the lead in the ABF Tour women's point ranking with Chan in second place mere 10 points behind, 135 to 125.

Ramadona captured his second career ABF Tour title defeating local favorite def. Lee Tak Man, Macau, in the men's title match by five pins, 226-221. Finishing first, Lee missed the opportunity to shut out Ramadona but a spare in the 10th frame forced the Indonesia to throw a double to win the match.

Ramadona finished with a double and a nine-count on the fill ball to seal the victory.

"I made a lot of mistakes in yesterday's Macau Open second round finals and I finished 13th," said the 28-year-old, who won his first tour title back in 2010 in Hong Kong and finished second in last week's Hong Kong Open.

"Today I made sure I do not repeat those mistake and this victory made up for the disappointment in Hong Kong."

Ramadona rolled three big games on his way to the title match. He ousted Sithiphol Kunaksorn, Thailand, 233-187, in the Round of 16, then eliminated Zoe Dias Ma, Macau, 248-182, in the quarterfinal and sidelined Macau Open winner Tomoyuki Sasaki, Japan, 246-183, in the semifinals.

Mr. Lao Cho Un, Acting Vice President of Macau Sport Development Board and Mr. Winston Chan, Vice President of Macau-China Bowling Association presented the trophies to the champions.

The 2014 ABF Tour consists of nine legs, five in the Middle East (Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia) with a men's division only and four in East and South East Asia (Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and Indonesia) featuring men and women in separate divisions.

Players earn ranking points based on how they finish in each event. The top 16 men and the top 16 women at the end of the 2014 season qualify for the ABF Tour Tournament of Champions scheduled for March 2015 (tbc) in Egypt.

The ABF Tour takes a four-month break before heading to Dubai for the UAE leg on October 15.
