The PBA Network has announced that Xtra Frame, the PBA's exclusive streaming video service, will cover the 2015 Teen Masters and 2015 Collegiate Masters in their entirety from the new South Point Bowling Stadium in Las Vegas.
Coverage of the Collegiate Masters is set for Friday and Saturday, June 26-27, and Teen Masters coverage will air Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3. Both events will be conducted by the PBA and will feature competition which limits each participant to the use of the PBA Skill 2.0 and 3.0 bowling balls.
To celebrate the partnership, a special package is available to competitors in both tournaments which includes:
E.J. Tackett (pictured left) of Huntington, Ind., defeated Chris Loschetter of Avon, Ohio, 248-236, to win the PBA Rex & Griffin Bigelow Memorial Central Open at Troy Bowl in Troy, Ohio, Sunday for a $2,500 first prize, his second PBA Central Region title of the 2014 season and his fourth career PBA Regional title.
The 2013 PBA Rookie of the Year defeated Eugene McCune of Munster, Ind., 242-169, to advance to the championship match. In the first stepladder match, Tackett eliminated Patrick Dombrowski of Parma, Ohio, 201-181.
PBA50 partner Ed Silva of Manteca, Calif., and Josh Blanchard (right) of Gilbert, Ariz. posted a 7-1 match play record and a 16-game total of 7,649 pins Sunday to win the PBA/PBA50 Ken Fowler Auto Center West/Northwest Doubles hosted at Yokayo Bowl in Ukiah, Calif.
With the win, Silva claimed his fourth overall PBA Regional title and Blanchard won his sixth. The winning doubles team shared a $3,000 first prize. Silva and Blanchard defeated Dale Eagle of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Missy Parkin of Laguna Hills, Calif., by 105 pins for the title.
Tyler Jensen (left) of Fort Worth, Texas, dominated the finals field to win his 14th PBA Regional title – and first of the 2014 season – in the fourth annual PBA Odessa Southwest Open Sunday at Astro Bowl in Odessa, Texas.
Jensen, who won $2,500, opened Sunday's finals with a small lead over runner-up Nathan Bohr of Austin, Texas, and C.J. Johnson from Shreveport, La.
Bohr started the match play finals with a 290 game to momentarily grab the lead. Johnson then overtook Bohr with a 269 game, but Jensen regained the lead two games later and never relinquished.
Winning six of his eight matches and tying another, Jensen finished with a 21-game total of 5,094 pins to top Bohr by 81 pins for the title.
Closing out the month over the Sept. 26-28 weekend will be the PBA Tomball Southwest Open at Tomball Bowl in Tomball, Texas (the Southwest Region's third-and-final PBA Women's qualifying event); the PBA and PBA50 Fog City West Open presented by Roto Grip at Classic Bowling Center in Daly City, Calif.; the PBA Break Point Alley Member/Non-Member Doubles (a reduced entry fee event) in Tavares, Fla.; the PBA50 Mel Westrich Memorial Central/Midwest Open presented by Storm at Delphos Recreation Center in Delphos, Ohio; the PBA Midcontinent Communications Midwest Open at Empire Bowl in Sioux Falls, S.D., and the PBA Pavlinko Pro Shops Eastern Open (a one-day re-entry event on Sunday) at Brunswick Zone in Turnersville, N.J.
October also will be a busy month for PBA players heading into the World Series of Bowling VI at South Point in Las Vegas, Oct. 24-Nov. 2. The Oct. 3-5 weekend's regional calendar includes the PBA Maple City Dodge Eastern Open at Maple City Bowl in Hornell, N.Y.; the PBA Calvert's Express Auto Midwest/Southwest Open at Aaron's Family Fun Center in Belton, Mo.; a PBA50 Junction City Bowl Southwest/Midwest Open doubleheader in Junction City, Kan., and the PBA Fishing & Hunting USA Central Open – one-day reduced entry fee event – at Northway Lanes in Muskegon, Mich. The Belton, Mo., and Muskegon, Mich., tournaments are the final PBA Women's Regional qualifying events for the Midwest and Central Regions, respectively.
The Oct. 10-12 PBA Regional calendar includes the PBA50 Centre Lanes Senior/Super Senior Doubles in North Canton, Ohio; the PBA50 Shreveport Southwest Open at All Star Lanes in Shreveport, La.; the PBA50 Dover Eastern Open at Brunswick Doverama in Dover, N.J.; the PBA Battle at Black Oak Casino West Open in Tuolumne, Calif., and the PBA and PBA50 Thunderbowl Midwest Opens in Council Bluffs, Iowa, which also will include the PBA/PBA50 Thunderbowl Baker Team Classic. The Tuolumne, Calif., tournament will be the PBA West and Northwest Regions' final PBA Women's Regional qualifier.
The weekend prior to the start of the WSOB VI (Oct. 17-19) will include the PBA Young & Pratt Southwest Open at Dart Bowl in Austin, Texas; the PBA Kokomo Central Shootout presented by Security Federal Savings Bank – a one-day, reduced entry fee event on Sunday, Oct. 19, with live coverage on Xtra Frame – at Heritage Lanes in Kokomo, Ind.; the Franklin South Open at Franklin Bowling Center in Franklin, Va.; and the PBA Sands Regency West/Northwest Challenge and Sands Regency West/Northwest Re-Entry Open at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nev.
October's schedule concludes with the traditional South Point All Regions Open and the South Point Member/Non-Member Doubles at South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas, Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

Xtra Frame's next live event will be the PBA Kokomo Central Shootout presented by Security Federal Savings Bank on Sunday, Oct. 19, starting at 9 a.m. ET and continuing until conclusion. The one-day, reduced entry fee event will be hosted by Heritage Lanes in Kokomo, Ind.
Three-time PBA Tour titlist Eugene McCune of Munster, Ind., will join his father, PBA Hall of Famer Don McCune, in the Greater Calumet (Ind.) Bowling Hall of Fame during ceremonies in Hammond, Ind., on Sunday, Dec. 7. McCune began his career in northwest Indiana, demonstrating his potential by averaging 219 at age 14.
PBA members dominated the Pan American Bowling Confederation Women's Championships in Cali, Colombia, in mid-September, winning five of six gold medals. Colombian native Clara Guerrero (left) won Singles over fellow PBA members Kelly Kulick (silver) and Liz Johnson (bronze). Missy Parkin and Kulick won Doubles while Parkin, Shannon O'Keefe and Danielle McEwan won Trios for Team USA. Shannon Pluhowsky joined O'Keefe, McEwan, Johnson, Kulick and Parkin in winning the Team gold medal (right) to qualify Team USA for the Pan American Games. Parkin, Kulick and Johnson led the gold-silver-bronze sweep of All-Events, and McEwan, a non-PBA member, defeated Parkin for the Masters gold medal. Johnson and Guerrero won bronze medals.

Xtra Frame to cover 2015 Teen Masters, Collegiate Masters; E.J. Tackett wins fourth regional title in Ohio
PBA Hall of Famer Pete Weber, visiting Los Angeles to "star" in an upcoming ESPN "This is Sports Center" commercial, was also invited to make a surprise appearance on ESPN's SportsNation where he participated with hosts Michelle Beadle, Marcellus Wiley and Max Kellerman in a fan-interactive game called "That's how I roll…"
The almost nine-minute segment closed with fans voting on which "meltdown" was the best: Weber's classic "Who do you think you are? I am…" outburst after winning the 2012 U.S. Open, or Philadelphia Phillies' closer Jonathan Papelbon's recent tirade after making an obscene gesture toward Phillies' fans after blowing a save.
Weber's enthusiastic reaction at the U.S. Open was an easy winner.
