Sharon Limansantoso (pictured right) of Indonesia and Hong Kong's Mike Chan (left) of Hong Kong captured the women's and men's title in the Asian Bowling Federation Tour's Indonesia leg Monday at Jaya Ancol bowling center in Jakarta.

Limansantoso topped her fellow Indonesian national squad member Nadia Pramanik in the women's title match, 202-163. Chan survived a low-scoring encounter against Sonny Njoto, Indonesia, 183-181, to win his first career title on the Asian Bowling Federation Tour.

The tournament was the last event for the women this season and the penultimate for the men. With her second consecutive victory this season after Macau, Limansantoso won the 2014 women's point ranking. The top 16 women and the top 16 men qualify for the ABF Tour Tournament of Champions March 16-17, 2015 in Kuwait.

The top 16 Asian men and women in the 12th Indonesia International Open Bowling Championship advanced to the Indonesia leg in single-elimination bracket match play.

Limansantoso (right), who won the 2013 ABF Tour Tournament of Champions, rolled games of 247, 227 and 210 to oust Hong Kong's Milki Ng and her team mates Novie Phang and Alisha Nabila in the first three eliminator rounds to advance to the title match. The last non-Indonesian woman was eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Pramanik, who won a bronze medal in Doubles with Alisha Nabila in the World Youth Championships in Hong Kong in August, sidelined her fellow countrywoman Aldila Indryati, 196-179, in the opening round, then ousted Hong Kong's Chan Shuk Han, 217-203, before she edged compatriot Regina in the semis, 197-190.

Limansantoso started with two strikes and never looked back. She bowled a clean game while Pramanik opened in frames 5, 7 and 8. Limansantoso sealed the victory with a strike in her ninth frame.

Chan (left) eliminated three Indonesian bowlers on his way to the men's title match including a 212-209 win against Rafif I Santoso, a 269-187 strike fest against Rudy Goenawan and a 215-202 stunner against Asian Games champion Ryan Lalisang.

Njoto flew past Wicky Yeung, Hong Kong, 225-157, and then sidelined his compatriots Aswin A Saputra, 224-191, and in the semifinals Diwan Rezaldy, 172-167.

Njoto struck on four of his first five shots in the title match but opened in frames 3, 6 and 7, to trail Chan by 16 pins. Finishing first the Hong Kong bowler gave the advantage back when he missed a single-pin spare in the ninth and opened the door for Njoto finishing with a spare and a seven-count for 183.

Needing a double and three pins to win the title, Njoto got the first strike but left three pins standing on his next shot which sealed his fate.

The 2014 ABF Tour consists of nine legs, five in the Middle East (Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia) with a men's division only and four in East and South East Asia (Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and Indonesia) featuring men and women in separate divisions.

Players earn ranking points based on how they finish in each event. The top 16 men and the top 16 women at the end of the 2014 season qualify for the ABF Tour Tournament of Champions scheduled for March 17-18, 2015 in Kuwait.

The final ABFT Tour leg (men only) will be held on December 3 at Universal Bowling Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, immediately following the 8th Kingdom International Open.
