Pete Weber (pictured) of St. Ann, Missouri, has been selected as the June 2015 Kegel Bowler of the Month by the International Bowling Media Association. Weber threw a clutch tenth frame double to defeat Eric Forkel, Henderson, Nevada, 224-212, to win the Suncoast PBA Senior U.S. Open, presented by Storm.

Starting as the fourth-seed in the four-man stepladder final, the PBA Hall of Famer downed Chris Warren, Grants Pass, Oregon, 224-202. Weber then ousted defending Senior U.S. Open champion Norm Duke, Clermont, Florida, 247-190, setting up the final with Forkel.

After averaging over 214 in qualifying, Weber maintained the pace in the 32-game match play portion, going 20-12, while not falling lower than sixth place.

Weber now has four PBA50 Tour titles, including two majors. The 2013 PBA50 Rookie of the Year is the owner of 37 PBA Tour titles, including a record-tying ten majors. With four remaining events on the PBA50 schedule, including the USBC Senior Masters, he is the leader on the competition points list for PBA50 Player of the Year.

Others obtaining votes this month in very close were EJ Tackett, winner of the PBA Xtra Frame Lubbock Southwest Open presented by Storm, Graham Fach, winner of The Proprietors Cup IV, Andres Gomez, winner of the PBA XtraFrame Pensacola South Open, Amleto Monacelli, winner of the PBA50 Northern California Classic presented by MOTIV, and Brian LeClair, winner of the PBA50 Fountain Valley Open presented by Track.
