Baltodano, Galeano, Soto, Algernon win gold in Singles at PABCON S/SS Championships

    The PABCON Senior & Super Senior Championships featuring 97 bowlers from 13 countries kicked off with the Singles competition Tuesday at Bolera Departamental in Cali, Colombia. Jacinto Baltodano (1357), Costa Rica, and Amanda Galeano (1164), Colombia, captured the men's and women's Senior titles, while Julio Soto (1285), Colombia, and Suzanne Algernon (1046), Venezuela, triumphed in the men's and women's Super Senior divisions.

    PABCONLogo.jpg The 4th Pan American Bowling Confederation Senior Championships and the 2nd PABCON Super Senior Championships take place from Sept. 27 to Oct. 4 at Bolera Departamental, a 20-laner in Cali, Colombia.

    73 seniors (maximum four men and four women per country; must be 50 years and older in the year of the championship) bowl for medals in Singles, Doubles, Trios, Teams, All-Events and Masters, while 24 super seniors (maximum two men and two women age 60 and older) compete for medals in Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Mixed Teams, All-Events and Masters.
