    Rich Hanson named International Sales Manager; Mike Stewart assumes role of Retail/Inside Sales, Non-ball Coordinator; EBI starts the search for a Marketing Manager Bowling Ball Category

    2016EBIRichHanson.jpgEbonite International has announced that Rich Hanson (pictured left) has been named International Sales Manager. Hanson has been in the bowling business his entire professional life, owning three pro shops in San Antonio, TX before moving to Hopkinsville, KY in 2011 to take on the role of PowerHouse Brand Manager.

    He continued to move up within the company adding the role of Track Brand Manager and in 2014 became the Marketing Manager - Bowling Ball Category with responsibility for all four of the EBI brands (Hammer, Track, Ebonite and Columbia 300).

    Hanson has done a great job in helping to drive EBI's product performance in the marketplace and within his new role the company looks forward to having him work closely with the international distributors to drive the EBI presence in each market.

    Reporting to Hanson will be Chun Bae, Asian Sales Manager, Tamara Ferguson, Global Sales Coordinator, Bettina Lund, EBD Sales Manager (Europe), and Amleto Monacelli, South American Sales Manager.

    Partnering with Mike Judy, North American Sales Manager, they will lead the Global Sales initiatives for Ebonite International. Both Judy and Hanson will be on Senior Staff and report directly to Randy Schickert, CEO of Ebonite International.

    Mike Stewart will be moving over to the sales department to assumes the role of Retail/Inside Sales, Non-ball Coordinator and to help support and drive retail sales, as well as build EBI's inside sales initiatives. He will also continue to manage the relationship with non-ball licensees, KR Strike Force and Jayhawk.

    Stewart has been with EBI for three years driving the non-ball categories and most recently was instrumental in transitioning these to new partners. He will be reporting directly to Mike Judy.

    With these moves, Ebonite International starts the search for a Marketing Manager Bowling Ball Category. This position is responsible for driving business and achieving a leadership position in the market for the four brands in the portfolio (Hammer, Track, Ebonite and Columbia 300).
