Remy Ong and Kim Soo-Kyung start Busan Asian Games with win in Singles

    AG2002.jpg Singapore's Remy Ong and Kim Soo-Kyung of Korea claimed the first gold medals of the 14th Asian Games at Homeplus Asiad Bowling Center in Busan, South Korea. Ong toppled 1389 pins, 231,5 average, to win the men's singles event. Larpapharat Yannaphon, Thailand, and Shaker Ali Al-Hassan, UAE, tied for silver at 1372. Soo-Kyung earned gold in the women's division with a 1362, six-game total, and an average of 227. Miyuki Kubotani, Japan took silver at 1334, with Liza Clutario, Philippines in third at 1308.
