Roger Dalkin retires as USBC Chief Executive Officer

The United States Bowling Congress and Roger Dalkin (pictured left), USBC Chief Executive Officer, announced that effective July 26, Dalkin would retire after 30 years of service to USBC and the bowling community.
"After my years of service and undergoing the challenge of leading and implementing one of the largest mergers of non-profit organizations in the history of the United States, it is time for new leadership," said Dalkin.
"Successfully merging the American Bowling Congress, Women's International Bowling Congress, Young American Bowling Alliance and USA Bowling was a tremendous challenge and the highpoint of my career. With the merger accomplished and a sound financial footing for USBC, this is the appropriate time for USBC to select an individual to build on what we have accomplished."
"We all thank Roger for his tireless and dedicated years of service. We have asked Roger to continue assisting USBC in its mission in a consulting capacity, and we are pleased he has agreed to do so," said Michael Carroll, USBC President.
According to Carroll, USBC will conduct a national search for a successor and that current USBC Chief Officer-National Governing Body Kevin Dornberger (pictured right) is acting as interim Chief Operating Officer until a successor is chosen.
