Pesek qualifies for her fifth consecutive QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup

Beatrix Pesek (left) and Zoltan Skobrics, both members of the Hungarian national team. won the World Cup Qualifier in Szekesfehervar, Hungary en route to qualify for the 2007 QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup.
The 43rd edition of this prestigious event will be held at Continent Bowling Center in St. Petersburg, Russia from November 3-11, 2007.
Pesek's victory in the women's division marked her fifth consecutive win in this tournament and her fifth consecutive BWC participation after Tegucigalpa, Honduras (2003), Singapore (2004), Ljubljana, Slovenia (2005) and Caracas, Venezuela (2006).
In the title match, Pesek, the No. 1 seed, topped six-seeded Franciska Vajda over two games total pinfall, 382-355.
Skobrics (right), 48, a bowling center proprietor from Sopron, not far from the Austrian border, is the oldest member of the men's national team.
The men's top seed earned his first berth into the Bowling World Cup with 381-326 victory over No. 7 Dániel Horváth.
