Marcial Ovide and Sandra Torrents won the Spanish Bowling World Cup qualifier and will represent their country in the 43rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup at Continent Bowling Center in St. Petersburg, Russia, from November 3-11, 2007.

Ovide dominated the men's division outaveraging his nearest competitor Erwin Pascual Potot by more than 18 pins over 12 games. Ovide rolled a 1477 series in the first six-game block to lead the top eight players into the final six-game block. He added another 1508 including 258, 267 and 287 (812) in games 10-12, to finish with 2985 12-game total and an average of 248.75.

Trailing Ovide by 217 pins to land in second place was Potot with 2768 followed by José Estévez with 2745. Melvin Ocando, who has provided the results, finished fourth with 2733.

Torrents led the women's division after six games by 24 pins behind a 1355 series. She widened her lead to 109 pins in the second block as she was the only player to manage another 1300-series. With the 1321 Torrents totaled 2676 pins and averaged 223.00 for her twelve games.

Laurence Gaillard was second with 2567 with Dulce Fernandez in third at 2478.
