Kendall and again Allsebrook win Brunswick Team England ranking event in Blackburn

    2007 Brunswick Team England #11

    Bowlplex Blackburn (September 22-23, 2007)

After a two-month break, Brunswick Team England events continued in Blackburn in September – unfortunately this also clashed with the adult Triple Crown in Jersey, the European Champions Cup in Luxembourg and the EBT in Ankara. Nevertheless 40 bowlers (seven ladies) took to the lanes.

Jo Allsebrook added her second title in a row and this time beat the men as well. Though Rob Kendall was second over the 17 games, he did shoot more pins scratch, the seven pin ladies bonus the difference, though this should take nothing away from Jo, who is in a rich vein of form.

Nicki Ainge, Zara Glover and Kylie Wills all made the round robin final, along with six men – Matt Giles and Wayne Greenall were second and third in the men’s rankings, followed by Lee Burrows, Adam Scott and Chris Oates.
