Kjeldsen, who led the very-first EBT ranking season in the year 2000 and also in 2003, defeated fellow countrywoman Britt Br√łndsted, EBT ranking champion 2004-2006, in an all-Danish affair, two-games-to-none.

Kjeldsen won the first game by the closest possible margin, 188-187 and then flew past her opponent in the second game, 237-179, to secure the victory.

In an all-Finnish men's final, 2007 men's ranking champion Palermaa capped off the 2007 EBT season more than nine month after the last tournament with a 2-1 victory over compatriot Pasi Uotila.

After dropping his first game against Uotila by 212-180, Palermaa bounced back with 220-207 and 242-209 collecting the necessary two wins to seal the victory.

The inaugural EBT Masters was the finale of the 2007 European Bowling Tour. The top 16 men and the top 16 women of the 2007 EBT rankings were eligible to participate in the event.

Kimmo Lehtonen, Finland, and Ivonne Gross, Austria, did not participate and were replaced by Wu Siu Hong, Hong Kong, and Nina Flack, Sweden.

The EBT Masters offered total prize money of 40.000 Euro, equally divided among the two divisions. The two champions earned 5.000 Euro each.

All players bowled three 8-game blocks on three different oil pattern - long, short and dual (short/long). The top 8 after 24 games advanced to the single-elimination best-of-three games finals.
