Kjeldsen, who led the field after qualifying, outaveraged her nearest competitor, compatriot Rikke Holm Rasmussen, in the 8-game round robin match play portion starting from scratch (the 18.game qualifying pinfall was dropped) by more than 9 pins.

Kjeldsen felled 1745 pins despite a slow start (168, 197 and 194), an average of 218.13, and won four of her seven matches (20 bonus for each win, no bonus given in the position round) to win the title with 1825 pinfall total.

Rasmussen was 73 pins behind to land in second place with 1752 and a 4-3 match play record. Priscilla Maaswinkel, Netherlands, finished in third place with 1698 including the field best 5-2 won-loss record. It would have been the other way round if the qualifying pinfall would have been carried forward.

The third EBT Masters will be held in Vienna, Austria, from May 3-4, 2010.
