KPTV announces biggest ever global audience for the 45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup

    KPTVCEOPhilMison.jpgLicensors of the PBA Tour for Eurosport, KPTV of London, has announced the biggest ever global audience for the 45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup in Melaka, Malaysia. Not only will this prestigious event be shown live across Southeast Asia on Nov. 19th, KPTV CEO Phil Mison (pictured) has also secured broadcasting deals for the Eurosport audience (6 hours of programming) and, for the first time, across all-Africa through the Supersports channel.

    KPTV anticipate further interest from other territories in the build up to this year's event, which will attract entrants from about 90 countries.

    The field includes former World Cup champions and elite bowlers, including four-time men's World Cup champion Paeng Nepomuceno, Philippines, 2007 women's champion Ann Maree Putney from Australia, 2005 men's champion Michael Schmidt, Canada, last year's first and second runner-up Martin Larsson, Sweden, and Zulmazran Zulkifli, Malaysia, as well as 46-time PBA champion, six-time PBA Player of the Year and PBA Hall of Famer Walter Ray Williams Jr., United States.

    Competition runs from November 16-19 at Melaka International Bowling Center, a brand new 52-lane center in the Malaysian coastal resort of Melaka, 1 hour from Kuala Lumpur, and fans of this great event can follow all the action as it happens here on www.bowlingdigital.com.
