FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, has announced today that bowling industry veteran Lucas Wiseman will join its team as the new Senior Editor of FloBowling.com.

Wiseman has covered the sport of bowling for more than 20 years, including nearly 13 years as public relations and social media manager for the United States Bowling Congress, the sport’s governing body, from 2003 through 2015.

“I’ve been a bowler almost my entire life and words cannot express how excited I am for this new opportunity with FloSports,” Wiseman said. “I look forward to creating unique and engaging content on FloBowling that fans around the world will be able to enjoy.”

During his time with USBC, Wiseman covered bowling events around the world, including 10 World Championships and eight QubicaAMF World Cups. He also provided coverage for all of USBC’s events, including the prestigious USBC Masters and USBC Queens.

Wiseman also served as the main play-by-play voice for USBC’s livestreaming channel, BowlTV, providing hundreds of hours of coverage each year.

Since leaving USBC, Wiseman worked as the public relations manager for a national sports marketing agency and has continued to cover the sport of bowling on a freelance basis. He won Best Editorial honors in the annual International Bowling Media Association Writing Awards in 2016 and 2017 for his columns that ran on BowlingDigital.com.

Prior to joining USBC in 2003, Wiseman was a writer, editor and designer at several newspapers, including the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

On the lanes, Wiseman has a high game of 300 and a high series of 794.

FloBowling was launched in June 2018 with a focus on live and on-demand coverage of premier bowling competitions, as well as breaking news, features, highlight videos and more.
