Go Bowling, America’s premiere destination for bowling news, game tips and events, will join the 92nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® with a unique collection of balloonicles and specially created vehicles depicting the fun and whimsy of the game.

On Thursday, Nov. 22, the Go Bowling elements will score strikes down the line of march, recreating one of America’s favorite family sports for more than 3.5 million spectators lining the streets of Manhattan and more than 50 million viewers nationwide.

“Bowling brings people together for fun and celebration just like the Macy’s Parade,” said Jordan Dabby, vice-president Partnership Marketing for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

“Our new and exciting partnership with Go Bowling highlights an activity that more than 67 million people love every year. We are thrilled to welcome Go Bowling to the Macy’s Parade family and hope the entire country enjoys the most unique Turkey Day bowling tournament they’ve ever seen.”

“The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is considered the start of the holiday season and an event that families across the country gather to watch and create memories,” said Randy Thompson, president of the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America.

“There’s also nothing better than families and friends getting together over the holidays and having fun on the lanes. Our participation in the parade provides families a great reminder of this.”

On Thanksgiving Day, the holiday bowling scene will come to life through nine specially created elements showcasing the fun of the game. Two 14-foot long red and blue striped bowling shoe vehicles will kick off the revelry, followed by six, 16-foot tall bowling pin balloonicles (a Macy’s Parade hybrid inflatable and vehicle).

To complete the exhibition, a 14-foot wide bowling ball balloonicle will try to record strikes all morning as the Thanksgiving game progresses down the streets of New York City. Go Bowling’s debut will mark the largest presentation of balloon elements showcasing one partner in the Parade’s history.

The 92nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs nationwide on NBC-TV on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 from 9:00 AM – Noon; in all time zones.
