« Ohio’s Joyce Latham named USBC Youth Volunteer of the Year

The 2017 USBC Queens and Senior Queens will take place concurrently from May 17-23 at the Baton Rouge River Center, the site for the 2017 Women’s Championships. The Queens is a major event on the Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour.
Baton Rouge hosted the 1993 Women’s Championships and to the USBC Open Championships in 2005 and 2012.
“We want to continue to keep the Queens and Senior Queens in the same host city as the Women’s Championships, so bowlers are able to compete in these outstanding events in one trip,” said USBC Executive Director Chad Murphy.

The Queens started in 1961 and has taken place alongside the Women’s Championships for most of its history. Both the Queens and Senior Queens feature a 15-game qualifying format, before the field is cut for the double-elimination match-play bracket.
