Surasak Manuwong wins his first career Men's Open Masters title in Thailand

    Lee Na Young defends women's title in 38th MWA Thailand International Open

Strike Bowl Ngamwongwan in suburban Bangkok.

    Top-seeded Manuwong defeated No. 4 seed Aris Ardilla of Malaysia, 210-171, to claim his first career open masters title. Lee, seeded No. 1 in the women's finals, topped No. 2 Siti Shazwani of Malaysia, 212-177, to successfully defend her title.

    Surasak earned the 300,000 Baht top prize (approx. $9,700). while Ardilla took home 150,000 Baht. Lee received 100,000 Baht (approx. $3,240) for the women's title and Shazwani walked away with 50,000 Baht.

    The top 16 Asian men and the top 16 Asian women qualified for the third stop of Asian Bowling Federation Tour Thailand leg, which will be contested at S.F. Strike Bowl on Thursday.
