Stride and again Harries claim the BTE titles in Jim Brewer Singles

Daniel Stride finished match play with games of 214, 248, 238, 267 and 223 to cruise to victory in the Jim Brewer Singles at Bowlplex in Poole, the 9th Brunswick Team England ranking event. Stride outdistanced 2005 BTE ranking leader Dom Barrett by 204 pins. On the women's side, Jo Harries was handed her second consecutive BTE title and the third overall this season on silver plate by Lisa Gardner, who finished with a 141-game to settle for second place mere three pins behind Harries.
