Vincent Wuylens defeated American Ken Bland, 2-0, in the best-of-three-game championship match en route to win the Belgian Super 6 Finals in the Category A.

Either the tournament organizers doesn't have enough imagination to create new names or there is a silent agreement that tournament series must consist of six tournaments to have a "Super Six Series". Sweden has started with it, followed by Australia, then Scandinavia and now Belgium.

The Belgian Super 6 Series consist of the following tournaments: Prince De Liege, Grand Prix Tragel Sport, National Tournament Alloo-Xanadu, Grand Prix Patrick Maes, Memorial Van Houdt & Van Renterghem and the National Tournament BC Ghent.

The series is divided into four categories: A over 190 average, B over 180, C over 166 and D under 166.

The top 12 of each category reached the finals at Bowling De Meibloem in Gent, May 22, 2005. After six games the top 3 advanced to the stepladder in best-of-three-game format. In the opening match, Bland, the No. 3 seed survived a strong challenge by No. 2 seed Bruno Glorieux. Bland won the fist game by one pin, so did Glorieux in the second. Bland rebounded with a 225-185 victory in the decider to meet Wuylens for the title.

Francis Maresceau earned the title in Category B, Jona Vanderzanden walked away the winner in Category C, while Steven Broeckx won Category D.
