German champion Andrea Jonasdofsky passes away at the young age of 38



    Andrea Jonasdofsky.jpg Michael Lehmann, sports manager of USC Bowling 1952 Viernheim and tournament organizer of the 100.000 Euro Viernheim Open, has informed us that club is mourning the death of Andrea Jonasdofsky.

    The 38-year-old former German National Champion suffered from a stroke during a bowling tournament last Sunday and passed away at the young age of 38 on early Tuesday morning July 25th.

    Since her victory in the 2002 National Championships, Andrea Jonasdofsky was on the podium in Singles or Doubles National Championships in 2004 through 2006. She has represented Germany in the 2004 World Tenpin Team Cup in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, earning the bronze medal.
