Doppler and Huber win Swiss World Cup Qualifier

Ruth Doppler from Basel and Philippe Huber from Geneva, will represent Switzerland at the 42nd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup at Mampote Bowling Center in Caracas, Venezuela from November 4-10, 2006.
The 2006 Swiss Champions won the Swiss World Cup Qualifier at Bowling Center BeSeCo in Rümikon-Winterthur, Switzerland.
Doppler, who bowled the 2002 edition in Riga, Latvia, averaged 204,3 over 28 games and topped lefty Bigi Manico, who won the last three BWC qualifiers, by 29 pins.

Huber averaged 227,2 and won four of his five matches in the six-player match play final to cruise to victory in the men's competition with 6681 grand total. Trailing Huber by 147 pins to finish second was Sandro Ancarani.
