EELEX 2006 - 15th International Trade Show for the Gaming and Entertainment Industry

The EELEX, the annual international trade show for the gaming and entertainment industry, celebrated its 15th anniversary at a new home, the Crocus Expo in Moscow, Russia. The third largest casino exhibition in the world and the largest in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries run from September 27-29 and was organized by the Unicum Group, the leading Russian provider of solutions and products for gaming business and entertainment industry.
Traditionally EELEX introduces a wide range of products for the gaming business (slot machines, equipment for casinos, etc.) and also 'entertainment equipment' - for leisure sports such as bowling.
This year the entertainment equipment sector was shown in a separate exhibition hall that allowed the organizers to invite more visitors and enlarge the booths of the regular exhibitors.
Bowling was represented by the manufacturers and distributors supplying the bowling products to the Russian market, QubicaAMF, Brunswick, Switch bowling, ALGROUP and VIA bowling.
While Brunswick, QubicaAMF and VIA bowling have been at the EELEX before, the Switch bowling company was a newcomer at the exhibition. According to the company's motto "bowling with style", the Switch booth was equipped with house balls designed by Pininfarina, pins and shoes, and a very elegant ball return.
Brunswick came to the EELEX with its new collection of creative furniture solutions for bowling centers and billiard tables. The major product of VIA bowling was a new modified pinspotter. QubicaAMF showed the visitors the new laminate with unusual patterns.
ALGROUP as well as VIA bowling are the distributors of the Zhonglu equipment from China. The brought Zhonglu's latest bowling balls, shoes and pins to the EELEX.
A large number of Russian bowling center proprietors visited the trade show to find new entertainment machines such as car and motor-cycle race simulators, air hockey, flippers, laser guns, etc. Nowadays the entertainment machines are important profit-making areas of all bowling clubs in Russia.
The good news for the visitors was that at the EELEX they could test all the entertainment machines for free. And therefore many people spent the whole day at the trade show.
