Coach Magnus Johnson takes on a new challenge

As earlier reported, Magnus Johnson (right) stepped down after eleven years as Swedish head coach and Sweden's top bowler Tomas Leandersson will take over the job. However, Johnson's retirement lasted less than week as he signed a contract with Swedish bowling club 'Sundbybergs IK'.
"I will coach and train the club from the first of January on a more regular basis," Johnson stated. 'Sundbybergs IK is the club of 3-time World Champion Anders Öhman (pictured left) and Swedish international Tobias Karlsson.
"They have the second best men's team in Sweden," said Johnson, "second to Pergamon, and their women's team is also among the top 3.
"It's pretty convenient for me as the bowling center is just a 20-minute walk from my home."
Leandersson is also the director of Swedish team champion 'Pergamon' which features some of the top Swedish bowlers as well as many international amateur stars.

And we would really wonder if this would be the end of Magnus' international career. "For the moment this here looks great and if something else will happen, I will take care of it when it happens," Johnson told us.
What are the odds that Magnus Johnson will attend the 2007 Women's World Championship in Mexico or the 2007 Men's European Championship in Austria - or both - as one of the head coaches?
I'd say about as good as Bowlingdigital's chances of getting invited to cover the events live.
