ETBF_1966.jpg "A relatively limited number of federations in Europe have an active center certification program, which is understandable, because such a program demands both resources and high technical skills, which are not necessary always available in all federations," Roni Ashkenazi, Israel, member of the European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF) Presidium and the Chairman of the ETBF Technical Committee stated.

"As a consequence, the ETBF Presidium has established the ETBF Center Certification Program, which consists of two “legs”: a technical inspection and a possible ETBF Center Certification."

The ETBF Center Certification Program, which was decided by the ETBF Presidium at a meeting in October 2006, is active with immediate effect.

With the exception of ETBF Championships and stops in the European Bowling Tour with an EBT Premier status, an ETBF Center Certification is optional for centers in Europe and an ETBF Center Certification will never replace a national center certification in any ETBF member federation.

You can find a full description of the ETBF Center Certification Program here (MS-word document) and furthermore you can see a template of the inspection report here (MS-word document).
