Bowlingdigital reports live from the 20th European Youth Championships in Thessaloniki, Greece. The championships will be held from April 6 through 15, 2007 at Strike Bowling Club.

The tournament host is the Hellenic Bowling Federation (HBF) spearheaded by it its President Alex Tzounis.

The EYC 2007 are divided in two divisions - boys and girls. Each team consists of maximum six male and six female players, who must not have reached the age of 19 before August 31st, 2007.

The players compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Doubles, Trios, Teams, All Events (18 games) and Masters (single-elimination, best-of-three games).

Record 154 boys and 103 girls from 28 countries will participate in the 20th European Youth Championships. Participating countries in alphabetical order:
