Reigning World Tenpin Masters Champion Chris Barnes (l.), United States, will begin the defense of his title against England's Zara Glover (r.) on Friday evening, April 20, 2007, at the Barnsley Metrodome, England.

The PBA superstar defeated Paul Moor from England, 458-437 over two games total pinfall to win the 2006 final and to receive the $30,000 top prize. Glover, who won three gold medals at the 2003 World Championships fell victim to Jason Belmonte, Australia, in last year's Round of 16.

3-time reigning European ranking champion Paul Moor will meet Biboy Rivera, from the Philippines. Rivera (pictured left) won the coveted Masters title in the 2006 Men's World Championships in Busan, Korea, when he tossed a 300-game in the decider to beat Germany's Achim Grabowski, three-games-to-two.

Three-time winner Tore Torgersen, Norway, faces a difficult task in the Round of 16 against Singapore's Remy Ong (pictured right). Ong, who is 2006 men's Asian ranking champion, won the gold medals in Singles and All Events at the Worlds in Busan.

Three QubicaAMF World Cup champions are among the 16 players, who were invited by organizer Matchroom Sports to participate in the three-day competition.

Reigning men's champion Osku Palermaa (l.), Finland, bowls TV commentator and South Africa's No. 1 bowler Guy Caminsky, who finished 13th in the last World Cup in Caracas.

Reigning women's World Cup champion Diandra Asbaty (pictured left) takes on two-time defending English ranking champion Dominic Barrett, who was fifth in Caracas.

2005 World Cup champion and last year's bronze medalist Michael Schmidt (right) meets Malaysian international Alex Liew in round one.

The only qualifier in the field, Darren Cundy from England, makes his debut against two-time Asian Games gold medalist Badr Al Sheikh from Saudi Arabia.

One of the highlights of this year's World Tenpin Masters could be the third and last match on Friday evening between Jason Belmonte (left), the two-hander from down-under and 2005 WTM champion Jens Nickel (right) from Germany.

Matchroom Sport, organizer of the World Tenpin Masters, has announce the line-up for 10th edition to be held at Barnsley Metrodome, England, from April 20 to 22, 2007.

The event will feature 16 of the top male and female bowlers from around the world, including three previous champions.

Reigning champion Chris Barnes (pictured with the 2006 trophy), one of the superstars on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour and a 7-time PBA champion, will be back to defend his title. Tore Torgersen (right, Norway), who has won the competition record three times, and 2005 champion Jens Nickel (Germany) are also among the 16 competitors.

Elsewhere, Remy Ong (left, Singapore) is rated at number one in the men's Asian rankings and Englishman Paul Moor (r.) is top of the European rankings.

The 2006 QubicaAMF World Cup champions, Finland's Osku Palermaa and Diandra Asbaty, United States, have also been picked. These new players join England's Darren Cundy, who secured the only qualifying place by winning the Premier Tenpin Bowling Club Masters earlier this year.

The draw for the first round of single-elimination match play (two games, total pinfall) will take place shortly.
