Nine countries to participate in bowling event at First European Sport Games

As earlier reported, Igor Kononenko, President of the of All-Ukrainian Sports Tenpin Bowling Federation has announced that Kiev (Kyiv), capital and largest city of the Ukraine, will host the First European Sport Games from July 19 through 25, 2007.
Fifteen non-Olympic sports including Tenpin Bowling are included into the Games: Body building; Billiards; Tenpin Bowling; Sambo; Wrestling on the belts “Alysh”; Kickboxing; Motor sport; Pankration; Dance sports; Sport acrobatics; Sumo; Strongman contests; Wushu; Rugby – 7; and Cheerleading.
Andrew Papusha, Executive Director of the All-Ukrainian Bowling Federation, has informed us that due to different reasons the host of First European Games had to substitute some countries which were originally invited to participate but were unable to send their representatives.
Participating countries in the bowling event are: Belarus, Belgium, England, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova and Ukraine.
