All they could follow was a live political discussion (in Greek), which did not finish on time but took half an hour longer.

"Unfortunately the channel decided that bowling was the least important and cut off our show," Dora Gavriil from the office of the Hellenic Bowling Federation stated. The presidium of the HBF will keep trying that the show, which should have been aired Monday June 25 at 21:00 (GMT), will be broadcasted at a later date.

"It is a serious struggle to negotiate with the media, especially the TV, and until we establish and prove we are having strong viewing value, we will be the last priority in showing.

"We are disappointed and apologize for our failure last night. We hope we will not have such bad luck next time, and that the channel will show the EYC highlights at a later time.
