Roel Mol (pictured), Netherlands maintained a slim 5-pin lead over Mariusz Musialik, Poland in the position round en route to win the Slovakia Open and the 2.500 top prize.

The Dutch led the field of eight players after seven match play games by 32 pins but fell to Musialik in the position round, 207-200. Musialik received 200 pins bonus for the win and another 10 bonus for reaching the 200-plateau. That would have been enough for Musialik to win if Mol wouldn't have reached the 200. But that was exactly what he did.

Mol finished with 1908 pinfall total including bonus, while Musialik settled for second place with 1903 and pocketed 1.000 Euro. Third place belonged to Swede Christian Karlsson with 1829, worth 700 Euro. Marek Husár was the top-ranked Slovakian player in fourth place with 1819 (400 Euro).

Natalia Martin, Poland, was the best woman in the field in eighth place 1635. Christian Schwarzbauer from Austria won the B Final.

The tournament highlights were two perfect games, No. 1 rolled by Pawel Bielski, Poland, during the qualifying and the second in the quarterfinals by 15-year-old Jan ÄŒepelák, Czech Republic, which was the first perfect game ever for a Czech junior bowler.
