ETBF Presidium decides on 2008 ECC and EBT Masters

The European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF) Presidium has decided the dates and venues for the 2008 European Champions Cup (ECC) and the inaugural European Bowling Tour (EBT) Masters.
The 31st ECC will be held at 24-lane center, Bowling Treff in Duisburg, Germany, from October 20-26, 2008. One woman and one man from each ETBF member federation, usually the national champions, plus the defending ECC champions can participate in the championships.
Just two years ago Germany hosted its last ECC formerly ECI (European Cup for Individuals) in 2005 in Böblingen.
The 1st EBT Masters 2008 featuring the top 16 women and the top 16 men of the 2007 European Bowling Tour rankings will be staged at Rollhouse Bowling Center in Ankara, Turkey immediately following the 2008 Ankara Open.
The Ankara Open is the 13th event of the 2008 European Bowling Tour and from September 13-21, 2008. The 1st EBT Masters will be played over three days (Sept 22-24). Departure will be on Thursday, Sep. 25, 2008.
