French Laurent Plantard defeated Chris Van Damme, Belgium, in two games, 465-424, en route to capture the title in the Luxembourg Open at Inter Bowling in Foetz/Mondercange.
Plantard, seeded fourth in the 4-player shoot-out, posted two high scores of 224 and 241 to earn 2.000 Euro top prize.
Van Damme was consoled with 1.600 Euro. Nicolas Forestier, France, and Koen Pellegroms, Belgium finished in third and fourth.
