AMF Euless to host U.S. Women's Open early rounds ahead of finale at Cowboys Stadium By Mark Miller

    2011USWOLogo.jpgPractice, pro-am, qualifying and match-play competition in the 2011 U.S. Women's Open will be conducted at AMF Euless Lanes prior to the live televised finals at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

    The event begins June 24 with open practice and pro-am squads. The main event begins the next day with the first of three eight-game qualifying blocks.

    2009DallasCowboysStadium.jpgThe top 32 bowlers after those 24 games will advance to another eight games June 28 with the best 16 moving to round-robin match play that concludes June 29.

    The top five players will compete in the 7 p.m. CDT championship round June 30 at Cowboys Stadium (right).

    ImageDirect entries for the event, presented by the brands of Ebonite International, are available for a $350 fee until May 11 and $400 after that date. Entrants also may qualify through special state and local events, leagues or tournaments conducted at bowling centers nationwide.
