Malin Glendert writes history in Super Six Bowling Tour

Malin Glendert made history in the Swedish Super Six Bowling Tour when she defeated Rebecka Larsen to win the 5th tour stop in Nyköping. The Swedish internationals were the first female bowlers ever to advance to a Super Six championship match. Glendert became the first woman to win a Super Six title, when she topped Rebecka, sister of Swedish World Team champion Martin Larsen, 231-222, worth 4.150 Euro.
Malin, seeded second after quarterfinal, used her five pins handicap to beat No. 3 seed Tommy Wendel by one pin in the first semifinal match, 226-222. Rebecka ousted tournament leader Tomas Leandersson, 205-188, in the other match.
Rebecka earned 2.600 Euro for second, while Tommy and Tomas received 1.245 Euro each for finishing third.
